  10. Hello fellow amiga users,

  12. Does anyone have experiences with an NEC 3xe CD-ROM drive and GVP's Impact
  13. SCSI-II controller? I am looking at getting the NEC 3xe CD-ROM drive, and 
  14. am wondering what people have to say about it.  I am looking for both good 
  15. and bad experiences.  Here is my system to date:

  17.     Amiga 2000
  18.     GVP Impact SCSI-II HC with 4MB of RAM, 120MB Hard Drive on the
  19.         card
  20.     OS 2.04

  22. I know my system looks rather old, but all I really have been using it
  23. for is to log into a UNIX system for the past couple of years.  I really
  24. have not had the need for any of the fancy stuff like accelerators,
  25. more advanced graphics, etc.

  27. The driver I am planning on purchasing will be ASIM's 3.X driver.  The major
  28. reason for the purchase of the CD-ROM drive, and ASIM's driver is to be able 
  29. to look at my large collection of PhotoCD's that I have available, and get 
  30. another CD player for use at home.

  32. If people know of problems with this system setup, or do some of the similar
  33. things with their current system please let me know what you have found
  34. to work.
